TRUESENSE 5.5-micron Interline Transfer CCD Platform
The TRUESENSE 5.5-micron Interline Transfer CCD Platform forms the basis for an advanced portfolio of image sensors that provides outstanding image quality at high data rate. This platform – the eighth generation of Interline Transfer CCD technology developed by Truesense Imaging – incorporates key advances in pixel design, process manufacturing, and packaging to optimize imaging performance and simplify camera design.
A flexible output architecture allows sensors built on this platform to be read using 1, 2 or 4 outputs, enabling high speed operation with full support for Camera Link data rates. Advanced imaging performance is provided through high dynamic range, low read noise, and low smear. And common pin-out and electrical definitions provide “Plug-and-Play” interoperability that simplifies camera development and shortens time to market. With these new advances, camera manufacturers supporting applied markets such as machine vision, traffic, and surveillance are now able to offer their customers a generation of cameras with improved throughput, performance, and quality.
