While there may be No Place Like Home for the Holidays, we’ve been working to bring a little bit of the holidays into our work at Truesense Imaging.
This year we started what will likely become an annual “Deck the Halls” competition, with people on each floor of our building banding together to decorate our halls in general, and the area by our elevators in particular. As you can see on our Facebook page, some of these have become quite elaborate – to be honest, I’m a little concerned that next year someone may try to sneak in Clark Griswold as a consultant.
While there have been a few extra plates of delicious cakes and cookies available over the past few days, today is our Holiday Food Festival, where everyone brings in their favorite dish – breakfast, appetizer, entrée, or dessert – to share. (Here’s hoping Santa brings some extra gym memberships to help work off the extra sweets.)
But the nicest thing has been the wonderful generosity of our employees, who had the opportunity to make donations to two separate charities through barrels set up in our main lobby: children's toys for the Toys for Tots program, and clothing and household supplies for the Open Door Mission. We were hoping to get the barrels simply filled with these donations – in the end, the toys and supplies were overflowing onto two pallets, and are already on their way to these charities for distribution during the holidays.

At Truesense Imaging, we pride ourselves on the high performance image sensors we provide to our customers, but never forget that our business – like any that is successful – is built not on things but on people. To our customers, thank you for the trust you place in us by allowing Truesense Imaging to provide the most critical component of your camera. To our suppliers, thank you for the work and planning you do that allows us to manufacture and supply the world’s highest performance image sensor devices. And to all, we offer our heartfelt wishes for a happy and peaceful holiday season, and success and prosperity in the New Year.
Happy Holidays.
